New Traditions - 9AM * Sunday School - 10:00AM * Traditional - 11:00AM
FMC New Traditions Service The New Traditions service begins at 9AM in the Wesley Family Life Center (building to the right of the sanctuary). Contemporary Christian music is played by the Forsyth Methodist praise band. Powerpoint presentations accompany the worship service.

This is the place on Sunday mornings for practical, uplifting messages, warm relationships, and great music in a casual atmosphere.
At 11AM each Sunday we gather in the sanctuary to worship together at our Traditional Service. These thoughtfully designed services blend traditional hymn music, prayers and sermon. There is a special time for children.

During the Service:
Ushers and Greeters are available to answer questions and assist you.
Communion is usually offered on the first Sunday of the month at both services. Our Communion table is open to all believers.

As our guest, we want you to feel free to let the offering basket pass on by. If you desire to give, please know that Forsyth MC is devoted to being careful stewards of the resources within our care. Members and regular attendees are encouraged to be faithful in tithing.

What to Know:

  • Sit where you like
  • We are a varied group, and will be wearing anything from shorts or jeans and a T-shirt to "Sunday best", with a good number of people in the middle, wearing slacks and a nice shirt. Whomever you are and whatever you wear, you will be welcome.
  • There is no public recognition of visitors
  • Parking is available in the lot in front of the Wesley Life Center and on West Johnston Street. Additional parking is available at the post office and in the city lots next to the fellowship hall. Handicap spaces are available in church lot on the street.
  • Children are welcome in our worship services. There is also childcare available all morning in the nursery, located in the Wesley Life Center.
  • Coffee is available during the early service
  • You are welcome to try any and all of our Sunday School Classes
