NURSERY: Available starting 9AM - 12PM in Wesley Life Center What a wonderful time for these children to learn that Jesus loves them. They recognize that God is great and God is good. Caring adults read the amazing stories of the Bible, and these infants and toddlers begin to realize that their church is a fun and friendly God-loving place. PRE-K and KINDERGARTEN: 10AM in Wesley Life Center These children are continuing to build a relationship with God, and they begin to understand that God's love, through Jesus, is for all people. They also begin to develop relationships with other children and learn about sharing and caring, respect and forgiveness. Jesus loves the little children and at Forsyth United Methodist Church, so do we! 1st and 2nd GRADES: 10AM in Wesley Life Center Early elementary school children are taught about God as he interacts with the people of the Bible. They grow in their understanding about Jesus as our Savior. The curriculum connects the events of the Bible with the lives of our children so that they can become lifelong followers of Jesus. 3rd and 4th GRADES: 10AM in Wesley Life Center The B-I-B-L-E, that's the book for me! Rising 3rd graders are given a gift of a Bible on promotion Sunday. Subsequently, a major part of the curriculum for this age group encompasses understanding what the Bible is, a general overview of its' parts, how to use it, and then beginning to understand the themes that God wants us to know as we live our lives. 5th GRADE: 10AM in Wesley Life Center We want to capture these 5th graders' attention and instill life-long Bible skills in them. The goal is to connect these 5th graders to the Bible so they become closer to their peers, to their families, and to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. |
